I had to start this thread

My copy is supposed to be delivered to my house within the hour according to ebgames.com and the FedEx tracking web site

This page will be the place to discuss it for all of those who are getting it today

Besides DrewMG I don't know who else will be getting it today

Since Majoras Mask was a bust...I have been waiting for a new Zelda since November 1, 1998 when Ocarina of Time came out (one of the top 3 videogames of all time in my opinion)

Well...the day has finally come and you have no idea how happy I am that I neither have a job, or school to get in the way of this game and my girlfriend (of 5 years today) also can't wait for me to get this

Lucky you.. I reserved mine at Blockbuster because it was the most convenient on the way to and from work. They told me that "it will be in by 2:00 pm friday". What a jip!

I beg to differ that Majora's Mask was a bust. Majora's Mask had totally killer side quests, and wicked music. I think all in all it was a better game than Ocarina was.

Sadly, however, I will not be able to afford Wind Waker for about 2 more weeks. ARGH.

I am upset about my typo in the title when it clearly should be Waker instead of Walker...habit i guess

Ocarina set the bar...i dont think majoras mask (especially the beginning missions) drew you into the game

Ocarina was perfect in every sense of the word

...and away I go to play Wind Waker...which is now in my possession

Doug, there's not much that i disagree with you about, but i loved it, even if the storyline eats me. However, back on topic, there's a possibility i might get it today, if EB shipped it on time...

I'm with Jason. Majora drew me in from day one and never let go. It was much better paced than Ocarina... The first three days rock you hardcore stylee, and then it's incredibly open.

I could never get into the game, it just seemed... stupid to me, though swimming around as a zora or rolling around as a goron was always fun.

Adam, you are wrong. Your opinion is dead wrong, and bordering on rediculous. Also, for those who say that opinions are neither right nor wrong, I'd like to take this oppurtunity to say that you are also wrong, in every way.

Thanks!

I just got my copy of Wind Waker...I'm going to grab some food and then I plan on locking myself away from everyone for the next few days and playing it...I'm so excited...

Are those conflicting interests, Doug? :-)

I really, really liked OoT. I never got around to finish it though.

I've yet to touch Masks.

I finished OoT, but I, like, cheated a little. Is that normal? Or does everyone pretty much figure everything out on their own and I'm just a huge loser? Anyway, very fun game, that. I give MM huge points for effort but I didn't get into it as well.

I only wished there was a point to the Bunny Hood in Ocarina of time.

I always found that Ocarina of time was a depressing sort of dark ... fantasy game, which was fantastic.
But then I've played majora's mask about 4 times and that is also ... very ... uhh scary shit. It's brilliant but I never had enough time to really get myself into it.
Links awakening was absolutely wonderful, undoubtedly and absolutely wonderful. i grew up with Zelda ... and then grew down with Zelda. I'll never grow up ... it's too good to forget

Wind Waker apparently has a very engaging storyline. Neat.

It is SCRUMTRULESCENT.

In other words, it rocks. It's a lot faster paced that the older ones, and it has more characters, more locations, and a hell of a lot more to do in general.
