pavement - shady lane

yeah, this is already a step up from slanted. still not sure what to think of it. it almost seems kind of like novelty music with the way he more talks than sings over the music.

I appreciate it a lot more for the musical quality. Stephen's singing always feels less in the foreground most of the time. I like Shady Lane a lot, though. Particularly for that last minute.

I'm not listening to it now, but when I was driving to the grocery store this evening I heard BOWCCL on Sirius! I forgot how fun it was to hear Ben on the radio - even drove past the store to hear the whole song.

It was the first BFF song I ever heard way back when.
