I find this analysis to be a little more accurate:

http://www.ndol.org/ndol_ci.cfm?contentid=252571&kaid=1
27&subid=900056

For instance, no way do I give Kerry states like Minnesota, Washington, Wisconsin, or even Illinois. And no way I give Bush a state like West Virginia. This is interesting, as it is based upon some recent survey data, but it is not a realistic study of the electorate.

I prey.

That takes on a whole new meaning.

Unfortunately I don't think that strategy will work. If people haven't realized it by now, I doubt they ever will.

Kerry's going to win. Why are you people worrying? I don't think any president has ever been as ridiculed during his office as Bush is. They sell freaking anti-Bush desk calendars in Barnes & Noble for fuck's sake!!

I'm voting because I'm turning 18 less than a month before the election, and I have a big interest in going into a field like political science (internationally, though) and I would cry if Bush were re-elected, so I'm voting for Kerry, but not necessarily because I want to vote for him, but because I want to vote against Bush (Anyone But Bush 2004) and I just succeeded in making that the longest run-on sentence ever.

OH! And, I'm from Illinois, and if you don't think Kerry is going to win my state, you're most likely wrong. Illinois is extremely democratic, partly because we have Chicago, and partly because we just are.

amy, theres chicago, but then theres central illinois, which is largely republican. former gov' jim edgar (who bush has been talking to for some reason, possibly a new position in the cabinet), lives in my hometown.

personally, i would vote on issues (i can't vote, not us citizen, but a resident) not on party, but i agree with you here, vote kerry this year, not bush.

You are pretty much evil.

I think all conservatives should be removed from earth, but I also think Kerry is going to be the most corrupt and evil President that ever held office. He'll make Bush look like George Washington!

Vote for Jack Ryan and not for Osama-- err, Obama Barack and you'll make a bigger difference than voting against Kerry.

A question borne out of ignorance: does Hilary Clinton have any qualifications for a big old career in politics other than being Bill's wife? I hope so.

Dude, she's a lesbian and anti-conservative! And she smoked weed. THose are all qualifications in my book. Plus she stood beside her husband a lied for him and helped him cover up his getting action on the side and that makes her rad.

I never knew I could agree with someone so narrow-minded.

I guess that demonstrates my point.

Anyways, since you people ask questions and then are too lazy to answer, I'll find the answers for you. (Actually, I'm not finding the answers for you, but your askage did make me curious on my own).

"As an undergraduate at Wellesley College, Hillary mixed academic excellence with school government. Speaking at graduation, she said, "The challenge now is to practice politics as the art of making what appears to be impossible, possible."

In 1969, Hillary entered Yale Law School, where she served on the Board of Editors of Yale Law Review and Social Action, interned with children's advocate Marian Wright Edelman, and met Bill Clinton."

cmon, cd. you should know better. obama's pretty much a sure bet at this point; jack ryan's a mess. it's like telling someone to vote for whatever sacrificial lamb is offered up to the guy macan or that hawaiian jap senator.

at any rate, only vote for your state's repub senate candidate (if there's a race) if you're sure kerry's gonna win the thing, and vice versa for the dems and bush. Divided Government '04, babyyyyyyy.

Jack Ryan has silly loads of cash -- he'll outspend Osama like John Corzine (a dem, I must add) did with his candidate up in New JErsey a few years ago.

I'm with you on Divided Government 04. The Republican White House staff is too cocky anyway. Course, I can't imagine Dem losers would be any better.

Vote against Osama in IL 04 Senate Campaign.

believe it or not, Hillary is actually pretty qualified to be a politican. In fact, she's better qualified than many politicians in Washington. though, she should have run in Arkansas instead of New York. I still don't get that.

As for the election, I don't like any of them, but I think I'll be sacrificing my ideals and voting against Bush, and therefore for Kerry. I'm definitely not voting for Bush.

However, that being said, I still think Bush will win. We have not yet begun to see the Bush political machine in action. Remember, his last election was won pretty much with marketing, (and a little supreme court help, but we'll save that for another argument.) I expect more of the same this time, and actually, a lot more than the last election. Especially with troops overseas. Unfortunately, I don't think the Democrats, as usual, will do a good enough job of exploiting Bush's weaknesses.

Example one...Bush is worrying about gay marriage while trying to deal with the terrorists. Why?

Example two...Bush is getting involved in the steroids in sports scandal when inflation is on the rise again (keep an eye on those gas prices and watch everything go up folks.)

Example three...Kerry served in the shit in Vietnam. GW stayed at home and did coke...or at the very elast stayed at home and drove drunk

Example four...Bush has the support of Dick Cheney, mr. haliburton. Kerry could probably get the endrosement of John McCain.

Example Five...Bush has had the least press conferences of any president, and I think I read that he's taken more vacation time than any other president...(I love texas, I'd like to move the White House there)

Example six...Win over old people by reminding them what happened to drug costs and insurance costs ALONG with getting sold out by AARP.

Those are many messages that should be hammered into our brains. I've only really seen one. Can't treat bush with kid gloves, because you know he doesn't campaign that way.

The Democratic Party has no balls whatsoever, which is frustrating because they're almost always running against complete wankers.

This is the part where I show you my blog.

That Hilary qestion is actually pretty interesting. What does qualify someone for politics? It usually seems that lawyers and businessmen are politicians, but now and then ex-military people run. Really, any can run and a wide variety of occupations would qualify someone for a job in politics.

And now that we know what qualifies Hilary, what qualifies GW? Badly running a baseball team?
