Odds are, daddy paid off the SAT people so Georgie can get a good score.

Damn, you got me GOOD! Your ability to fight facts with reckless accusations puts Howard Dean and Al Gore to shame. You should join the Kerry campaign.

I beat Bush, not that the SAT or ACT are real tests of intelligence. Realy, there is no way to tell how smart the Presidents are. Personally, I think Bush comes off as dumb, but think that might be on purpose.

So, Bush got a SAT score that would get him into, say Michigan, but not Northwestern. Yale, no possible way.

The only thing that Bush can beat me at is the number of coke lines either of us can do in 5 minutes.

I bet you didn't know this, but roughly HALF* of the people who got into Yale had SAT scores that were less than the average score of admitted students. That is how averages work. You don't think it is possible that he got into school because, despite his SAT scores, he had high grades? That is how I got into school (actually, low GPA, high SATs, but the same idea).

Schools have gotten tougher to get into, due to more and more kids going to college, so don't try to compare Bush's SATs with those of people current, or even recently (last 10 years) applying to schools.

If you honestly cannot give the man some credit for his intelligence, then you have very little hope in ever becoming a fair and impartial judge of anybody, so give up now, and announce that you just plain hate all Republicans without any explanation. It will save you some time in your life.

*I say "roughly half" because I am well aware of the fact that fewer people with proportionally higher scores can offset more people with lower scores, but let's just assume a bell-curve here since that tends to be the trend with SAT scores in college admittance.

I gave this guy a chance, but fucked it all up. You remind me of the Bush/Cheney '04 campaign: not talking about what Bush has done for the country (assigned from the same "terrorist" crap he's been dishing.

Foreign relations
Economy
Healthcare
Education
Jobs/Employement

This and so much more he fucked up

He's had four years to win me over. So don't tell I'm not being a fair and impartial judge.

Btw, there are reasons I vote Dem and not Reps. I didn't just wake up and say "I think I'll hate all Reps". Before 2000, I was independent and damn proud of it. But now that Bush fucked it all up, I'm proud to be a Dem.

mrn121.

it is a fact that bush was a solid C student. sorry.

for you to pretend like having a father who was the head of the CIA had nothing to do with getting into a school, then you really are naive.

Hmm, nice to know that parties don't have to do anything to earn your vote except not be the other party.

Now, if I use too much foul language and you get offended, I want you to do something for me - I want you to think about how your idiotic fucking behavior has caused this onslaught of obscenity.

More importantly than his father, his grandfather was on the board at Yale.

However, Bush did go to and graduate from Hardvard business school.

I think that Bush is intelligent, and that it doesn't matter at all what his SAT score was, what grades he got, how he got into college, or where he went. It doesn't matter, just like what Kerry did during or right after Vietnam. I'm not voting for Kerry because he served in Vietnam and Bush didn't. There are many reasons I like Kerry many reasons I dislike Bush.

Welcome to American politics. You've figured it out, 88, pat yourself on the back, you're smarter than Bush!!!

I was only talking about why I'm against Bush and the Reps. I do have reasons why I like the Dems, but that's for another thread.

haha he said HARDVARD!!! It is important when discussing the intellegence of others that you at least seem intellegent yourself.

There are many reasons, people should debate with themselves who they will give their vote to, and Ultimately, it is your decision, and your business, and yours to keep to yourself if you choose.

I will be voting in mid October, because I will be sending in an absentee ballot. I am fairly sure who will be receiving my vote, but I am still not convinced that either candidate is completely deserving to run the country that I love, but I will make the choice and stick to it, and be proud that I am an American.

But whomever is chosen, I pray that we never see the tragedy that September of 2001 brought us.

or at the very least be able to spell "intelligent."

i already said it, but it bears repeating: if gesey has come out against john kerry, then join me in my new PAC HARPOONERS FOR KERRY (ads going up this week in major media markets in ohio, florida, pennsylvania, and wisconsin!).
