David Lynch's Mulholland Drive started as a pilot to a TV series but turned into a movie instead. |

Threre's no good TV in Australia anymore. Until they screen the third series of blackbooks, all I watch with any kind of regularity is Frasier. |

fraiser and the simpsons |

There's a new show called Carnivale, that a lot of people describe as 'twin peaks like'. It's set at a circus and has that same dwarf on it from twin peaks. I haven't seen it. |

After I saw Blue Velvet I made a secret pact with myself to never ever see anything else from David Lynch, ever. That movie brain raped me to the worst extent. |
|
really? howcome? |
|
yikes, i don't even want to know the logistics of a brain rape. |
|
Well, the way the movie depicted struggles for power was so effective. It left me feeling really dirty. Don't get me wrong, it's a great movie from a super talented director I'msure, but it was almost to good. It just got to me on a level that I'm not really comfortable with. It made me feel the same way Monster and Vulgar did. Just really uncomfortable and disturbed even a few days after I'd seen them. It's really cool that a movie can do that, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. |

city of god |

Those were both pretty bad Dave. They were good at telling the story but they didn't take me into the mind of the people the same way. |
|
I don't mean bad as in bad movies, they were great movies, specialy city of god, I mean bad as in hard to watch. |
