Okay, so how exactly are we going to do this?

Maybe we should just make a list of everyone, then say you send a cd to the person below you on the list or something. I don't think anything will really happen if we just leave it up to people to contact eachother. Any other ideas?

I basically have the first mass e-mail about this written up. Anyone else who wants to get on this should leave their e-mail address here by Monday, 5pm Central Time.

Kate, I'm going to put everyone in alphabetical order by screenname, and then everyone will contact and send a cd to the people below them.

Also, I think peoples ideas of a mix CD vary. Some people think it's just a way to create a cd with as much of their favorite music. Other people create albums out of them, with a certain flow, tension and release to them.

I was thinking of the latter, but it's open for suggestions.

I say, if you're interested in what someone else would make a mix cd like, just get in contact with them, and trade, leave it up to the individuals as to how much they want to get involved

That's what she said.

I really couldn't send Senselessdrum anything he doesn't have, as my CD collection mainly consists of Spongebath Records artists.

Crap. If I had a CD burner and stuff, I would TOTALLY want in. But, sadly, my dad is a caveman. So he doesn't have any of that new shmangled stuff.

I'd rather be randomly paired to exchange mixes with. It seems pointless to find someone who has very similar musical interests as you and have them make a mix of your already favorite songs.

Basically, I want to hear some new music.

I didn't say you had to pick someone with similar interests, just someone you'd like to see what they burned... i think it's a good idea, anyone with website- skill wanna just throw up a list of people and their emails?

That's what she said.

Yeah a website would be kind of cool. I don't have the time or the skill to do so though. Drew maybe?

Okay, does anyone know how many stamps are needed for a 6X9 padded envelope with the CD? I made my mix last night. It's good.

If it's a thin plastic or paper case, three should do it. If it's a thick plastic case, better make it four.

Sorry gooseman. I'm not sure why i didn't put you on the list. Maybe because you're from Australia.

If anyone wants to help this guy out by paying more on postage to Australia, send him an e-mail. Otherwise, I'll make sure you're included next month.

Wow, the post office is fast sometimes. I just mailed it on Saturday. Let me know what you think.
