and right now there are no boats or bridges connecting us with the outside world. There are however many cameras setup on the island so people from the outside can still see us. Many die trying to swim here every year.

I wonder how the place will change when our bridges and boats are back in service.

My roomate just got this game the other day and beat the final level last night... I believe the game is Katamari Damachi, and you just roll a ball around and collect things. As you get bigger, you can collect bigger things. Anyway, the final level is one where you have to get to 300 meters. He was picking up whirlpools, rainbows, bridges, warehouses, cargo freight holders, tankers, and skyscrapers. It was insane and he felt like God.

Nah, my roomate was not on mushrooms, but we're pretty sure the creators of the video game were... everything has pretty colors and music and rainbows and it's just FREAKIN' WEIRD!!! Seriously, you need to find this and just read the back of it. Apparently, the story line is the King of the Cosmos took mushrooms and made all the stars fall from the sky. As the son of this freak, you have to collect things on earth in the form of a ball and if you get it big enough, he'll send it out into the universe to form a star, constellation, or the moon (which is the final one). It's freaky... another guy who played it had a katamari where the second most volumous thing in it was teenagers. I think the first was fruit.

I don't think so, but that's the impression we got from the opening part of the game. It's weird, and I totally recommend getting it, Drew. Another weird thing is that the cover of the game and the little label on top of the game are spelled differently - Damacy (cover) and Damachi (label). Freaky from the get-go.
