this is a non-folds related rant, but... ya know that band Crazy Town, that sing that song 'butterfly' or something. Anyway, they made a gabillion dollars over this song. So i saw an interview where Crazy Town's Vanilla Ice-esque looking lead singer Shitty Shoeshine (or whatever his name is) talking about the song. And he was like, "When I asked them to write me the words, I told them I wanted something like 'Under the Bridge'". Now if not bad enough, I was listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers' 'Mother's Milk' and a song called 'Pretty Little Ditty' which was written in like 1987 had the same music to the song. So now these guys are millionaires and "artists". Argh!!!! :)

altho we disagree on the weezer thread, theberrage, you have been totally redeemed in my eyes for this post. specifically for the phrase "shitty shoeshine."
