the detroit cobras - rock n soul group that covers great tunes from the 60's, great female lead vocalist

In the more traditional vein, there's this chick called Rachael Yamagata who I like, but for some reason still not quite sure about.

I'd agree with Fiona Apple. I don't own any, but I always liked her stuff.

I don't own much by girls. I guess I don't identify. Here are the few girl related groups/artists I own:

Lauryn Hill- straight up soulful (I'd like some Erykah Badu if I could make up my mind)
