How come Ben doesn't spend anytime in Canada, he's got one show in Toronto and i think one in Montreal, but what the fuck about the rest of us, especially us on the west coast. Speaking of which no fucking rock stars of any quality come to the west coast of Canada, i have to travel 3 hours down to Seatle, so in conclusion i wish Ben would come to Vancouver

Seriously, you have to look at sales, what are Ben's Canadian sales like? Does he have a huge following in your area? If you can get a petition together signed by a couple thousand fans in your area, send it to Bens Management, then he will come play.

Nuff said.

maybe if Ben played some shows in places where he doesnt have strong sales... (like Canada, or Florida), he could BUILD A FOLLOWING...

And then he'd sell more records!

He keeps playing the same cities over and over... but he hasnt played a headlining show near me (south Florida), since 1997.

Canada, I feel your pain.

Whine whine, bitch bitch. How come Ben doesn't hit anything in between Seattle and Chicago, and north of Kansas City? There are people here too, ya know, not just cows and farmers and bible thumpers!

Hey lets also just remember that it isn't Ben's fault really. Most artists don't get to say "Hey I want to play in Wichita, KS this time around" they get booked where they get booked. And I will admit I am pissed, I used to live in Boston where Ben would come at least 2 times a year, now I am in Orlando, where it doesn't seem he wants to even spit on. Granted, there aren't many places in this area for Ben to play AT, maybe I'll just book him at Disney World.

Yeah, I can understand being upset with not seeing Ben, but if you really want to see him, you can always find a way out there. Get a following built and have Ben take notice with a petition as suggestion above.

Honestly though, when I found out that Ben wasn't playing in Michigan with Rufus, I chose between Ohio and Chicago. My first concert was in Ohio. If you really want Ben, you have to go the distance sometimes.

but everything in the mid-west is so close. If you live in Florida, it's about double the distance getting there and getting back.

This is true, I've debated about going to Georgia if he plays there, but he hasn't even said a Georgia date. We'll just have to wait.

Think about how Mexico must feel. He never plays down there.

He has a show scheduled for Atlanta on July 30

As far as having to travel long distances to get to shows, I live in the midwest, and he still hasn't played within 2 hours of me. So 3 hours to get to a show is nothing... The shortest distance I've driven is 2 hours... I regularly drive 3-5... and I've driven 12 hours for one show and flown to NYC for another. If you really want to see it, you'll find a way. 3 hours is nothing.

agreed, make a day of it. Southampton is 3 hours from me and just wandering around the town and trying to catch Ben at the gig was great anyway. And I did meet him. Hurrah.

Yeah and if he played a show within 3 hours of me i would definately go, but his closest show is in Portland Oregan, a ten hour drive and a 16 hour bus drive. It's not like i am blaming Ben i'm just saying it would be nice if he played some where around here. i wish i had the money to take a trip but not all of us are richers. so maybe i will start a petition but i don't really see that helping if as previously stated ben has no control over his touring

I'm going the distance, I'm going for Ben, I'm all alone (all alone) all alone in my time of...er...yeah. My concert buddy and I are making quite a trip for the Wolf Trap concert.

Also, courage, friends, courage. If he can play West Virginia, he can play anywhere.

He can't. It's like in Dogma, he has to get Alan Rickman to type out all his posts. -Ill, on why Steve doesn't post
