Don't Teebs and Rach live in the vicinity? Luke and Kate are close.

eddie i have a few questions for you:

1) what type of soup is best?

2) what is your stance on peanut butter: creamy or gross?

3) are forests overrated?

Drew I'm happy you came to me for guidance despite being older than I. It shows character, as well as humility.

(1) The best type of soup is a good tomato-basil. Maybe throw a little rice in there if you're feeling adventurous. Maybe add some cream and chicken if you need a shot of protein and cholesterol.

(2) Peanut butter is good. I like peanut butter. I confess I like smooth compared to crunchy. I also confess I have crunchy in my apartment right now instead of smooth because I am just that continental.

(3) Forests are not overrated. We need them for oxygen, paper, and to give splinters to our enemies.

Drew, I hope these responses proved satisfactory. I want you to know that I'm here for you day and night; whenever you might need me. Don't be afraid to speak up.

thanks eddie, your answers are comforting.

as far as soup goes, i've found that a red pepper and tomato bisque is quite enjoyable. do you agree with this fact?

re: peanut butter i should confess that i was a bit harsh on non-creamy peanut butter. while i do not prefer it, it is a viable alternative.

and finally, who is in charge of mowing the lawn in a forest? someone's got to be, or it would get overrun.

sounds like Drew only asked those questions so that he could answer them himself (he appears less mad if the questions are indirectly 'passed' through someone else).

Other questions of this ilk include:-

a) how was your day?

thats it.

It is the shame of my life that I've never had red pepper with tomato bisque. I feel as though my credibility is shot. Perhaps I should resign, lay low for two or three years, then have someone ghostwrite me a book. Perhaps it can be called "Broth(er), Can You Spare A Dime?"

Drew, pelican's used to mow forest lawn until they unioned up back in 1973. They demanded more penguin meat, but were denied so by management. Since then they've been on strike. These days it's up to those scab orangoutangs to keep the grass cut.

A real shameful situation, if you ask me.

Drew, what kind of circus do you prefer? One ring or three ring?

excellent 'broth' based pun there.

I thought I'd point it out for those of you yet to read the 'big book of soup humour'.

Its big in size, not pages. Its NOT endorsed by Joel McHale.

eddie, don't stress too much about it. but if you ever have the chance to have a red pepper and tomato bisque, please do not hesitate.

eddie i do not like any type of circus, but if i had to pick, i would say one ring. i would rather have one ring than three rings because three rings is more circus and we've already established that the less circus, the better.

Drew, may I ask you a video game related question?

thanks.

do you know of any games for the Xbox 360 in which two people can play and shoot each other and have fun doing it?

Such as (from what I have heard but never played) that Bond game that used to be on .. playstation. (maybe?)

Also Drew, do you like grapefruit?

I'm not sayin' I'm just sayin'.

bobbie,

thanks for the question. the game you are thinking of is a nintendo 64 classic: "james bond: goldeneye" and is considered one of the premiere first person shooters of its era.

there are many games similar to goldeneye on the xbox 360. the most notable would be "halo 3" which gives players the open of not only shooting at each other, but also teaming up to take on the story-mode of the game together.

another game of that sort would be call of duty 4, which is a military simulation that has achieved lots of acclaim.

i hope this has been informative.

although i do not eat grapefruit very often, do not let that fool you - i enjoy grapefruit verily!

Ooooh, I used to play Goldeneye on Playstation 1 with my friend in college. Fun fun fun! Good times.

When will you say sorry for hurting my feet in 2006?

I will apologize for one foot, but not both. Fair compromise?

Drew, thank you for your input. I may have to try Halo 3. I have certainly heard the Halo games are good but I have not played any of them.

I believe I tried one of the Call of Duty games (maybe it was 3, who knows) but the multiplayer option was really boring.

I suppose many of these games are meant to be played with more people all hooked up over internet land playing together but I just don't do that. daddy-o.

bobbie,

also you can get halo 1 and 2. they are original xbox games, but as long as you have an internet connection on your xbox and a hard drive, you can download a patch that will let you play them on your xbox 360. they too have the same multiplayer options of halo 3, and will let you team up to take on the story mode together. co-op campaign mode is a lot of fun actually.

Drew, yesterday I was in Best Buy and I saw they were selling all of the old Sonic the Hedgehog games on one disc for PS2 for 20 bucks (plus tax), and I almost bought it cause I liked playing those games.

Do those games suck and I'm just relying on boyhood nostalgia, or should I regret my decision of non-purchase?

Why isn't this thread locked?

...I can post to myself this way...I suppose...but, yet...then again, no. Sleep, I gotta try at least, but - wait a minute: that little blue grouch is laughing at me! Well...I'll have to sort him out later, that, that...grouch! Oh, the NERVE of that scowling fool, thinking he can just bark at me to use CAPITALS (which are highly irritating, I'm sorry)
See, insomnia.
