Well, as it is now the report is basically this "there were really loud noises heard, they may or may not have been gunshots" and furthermore our elected leaders aren't exactly popular right now.

In fact I bet there would be some cheering depending on who got shot (Tom DeLay for example, too bad he's gone...)

It wasn't in the Capitol. It was in the House Rayburn Office building which is a block away. Apparently someone heard shots fired in the garage. This could be explained by either the fact that there was loud contruction going on, or that theres a firing range nearby in the building. Either way, someone is an idiot
