Well I mean I'm working day jobs too, but I'm studying acting. I worded that wrong. |

Yeah it's really tough in Australia, that's why I bowed out and went for primary teaching... I figured it's a "day job" I can handle with far more livable pay and I can still pursue that kinda thing at my own pace and if something happens, it happens.. if not, I stay teaching. |

A lot of NBC's charm is that it seems follow those musical conventions while darkly satirizing them at the same time |

Wow...those are significantly different. |
I'm writing an essay about just how significantly different they are for my "Significantly Different Films History Class". |
one time I checked out Dog Day Afternoon, Lilo and Stitch, and A Letter to Three Wives from the video store and the guy was like "um... really weird mix of movies there, man." I was so pissed off I got Netflix and never set foot in a video store again. |
I'd love it if the guys from Netflix send you emails now saying "um... really weird mix of movies there, man." I would totally LOLAT. |
I wouldn't mind that so much, there's no awkward social situation involved. Plus I don't read their e-mails. |
Once I went to a video store and rented a bunch of random obscure movies and the cashier was really impressed by the choices, then she got to the bottom of the pile and there was something embarrassing, like Ella Enchanted. |
you should have been like "THAT ONE'S FOR MY LITTLE NIECE" or "THAT ONE'S FOR MY FIANCE" or somethin |

“Without saying much, we can just blend with each other and play, which is how most of the songs came together before there were even lyrics. And again, I played half the record without knowing what the lyrics were going to be and barely what the vocal melody was. That's kind of typical of Ben. He turns in his term papers very late.”
