Wow, the strings version of Learn to Live is so fucking sugary. But I like it more probably. That vocal double-tracking is massive but it fits.

We never... never hit a cat and barbequed it before a gig in St. Louis... That never happened, and I don't know who started that rumor, but it was a possum... and they're edible if you like that... it's a little tough, but you don't just leave it sitting there.

I'm excited. Actually, very excited. Not for the album, but for the fact that Ben seems to be rekindled.

I also like the fact that he admits some of the orchestral arrangements were weak shit.

I just hope he can dig deep and go back to his past writing form.

i accept this apology on behalf of this website. just tell us when the BFF apology reunion tour starts. he can add a whole new verse to "regrets," just filling it with song titles from his solo career!!

a few times i found some earlier overlooked takes that had more mistakes but better energy. sometimes there had been tracks muted that we brought back.

maybe he muted every track on rent-a-cop? only way to make that song good imo.

YES. late, rock star, learn to live all sounded better than the final versions when he played them at his solo gigs. and ain't got no words is good as well. the speed graphic version of judy is one of the best EP tracks. and ben folds live is the best thing he's released in the past six years.

well anyway, learn to live still sucks w/ strings imo.
