It's getting pretty good reviews. I think it comes out this week. Either today or tomorrow.

It has a 69% at rottentomatoes.com. To compare that,

Rocky I = 95 %
Rocky II = 64 %
Rocky III = 64 %
Rocky IV = 50%
Rocky V = 20%

So, according to reviews, this is the second best in the series.

Rocky was at the last Eagles home game. He was in the box with them, and rather than commenting on plays inthe game, they were just talking to him about Rocky, and one guy just kept saying "come on sly, say it say it" and Sylvester was like... ummm... ADRIAN really quietly because he was pretty annoyed with this guy. I ended up missing about 3 or 4 plays and a lot of calls on the field because of him.
But... i guess he's a hero, they have to praise him.

BTW: i probably won't be seeing Rocky Balboa.

So..I thought this was fine. Nothing spectacular, but not a disaster. It's probably fair to call it underwhelming. I think it's trying so hard to be like the original that nothing substantial ever gets around to happening.

There are a handful of moments I really liked, however. Overall I'd say it's better than 3 and 4 (does 5 even count?), though it lacks the Saturday afternoon TNT rewatchability factor that those have.
