This thread has been brought up before, and I know it. I have no shame. I'm just here to tell all you folks:
(preaching very loudly, putting emphasis on random words as if filled with "the spirit")

"I have SEEN the what you people call "XXX" and it has CHANGED ME. Vin Deisel's sculpted physique and bad-ass "tude" was down-right SEXY. OH LORD! He made me fear ..even myself! It was SO realistic. His arms were like...MELONS! Giant MELONS! Praise Be to the MELONS! And when he used those melon-like arms to kick some German ASS.. I CRIED! Like a little baby. He was so beautiful. XXX was SO beautiful. *weeps* It's changed me in ways I CAN'T describe (mhm!), changed me in ways I can't BELIEVE (uh huh!), HECK! It's even changed me in ways I can't understand!
PRAISE BE to Vin Deisel! God of the American Bad-ass!!"

What I mean by all that is: The movie was TERRIBLE. And yet, it was one of those movies you HAVE to see. I'm serious. It's not one of those movies like "Dude, Where's My Car?" where it's so bad it's good (though, that is a matter of opinion), THIS IS JUST BAD.

But you have to see it, then come back and tell me all about it. PRAISE BE TO THE MELONS!

Heeee...wow...now I'm curious. My friend wants to see this, so, considering that we leave for college soon and this would be deemed "bonding/goodbye time", I'm under a certain amount of obligation to go...but if at all possible, I'm bringing my boyfriend down with me...MWAHAH...the one who hated The Fast and the Furious with every fiber of his being :-P

Ebert thought it was pretty bad-ass.

I used to think he was a good critic... but then I realized that he gave Fight Club 2 stars (out of 4), and XXX 3 and a half, and my brain exploded. I took a while to clean me up.

I haven't seen it.

Notice I didn't say "I haven't seen it yet."

Subtle difference. Means I don't intend to see it.

Well...I just got home...and...*weeps for the chunk of life she wasted on that movie* I just have to keep telling myself it was worth it to see my friend one more time before college starts...and I did get a nice little quick nap in there...during the ending.

Mm. Worse.

To tell ya'll the truth, I had to be dragged into the movie theatre. That's what friends are for, I guess.

Having not seen a Carrot Top movie, I cannot truthfully say...but it's a pretty good bet :-P It was just rather painful to watch...I mean you just hear the things those people say and just have to wince and go "Oooh...that was bad."
