Speaking of painful, is it possible to grow a wisdom tooth in a place where one has already been removed?

My lower left jaw has been hurting me for two weeks, and now the gum feels like something is trying to push through.

Maybe it's the remnants of my twin, or something. Like out of The Dark Half.

Or maybe I just grind my teeth at night. I dunno.
