and the other item is that he unveiled his plan for health care and it's kinda underwhelming. (not that any health care plan is scintillating, but it seems like barry is afraid of going balls-to-the-wall like edwards did.)

I dig Bill's position on education, but I'm not a single issue voter. Although I don't agree that college should be a right for every kid. I think if you're in high school and haven't given a shit or worked hard, then you don't deserve to go. Admitting more kids to college means more colleges complaining about schools not doing their jobs by educating kids properly and blah blah blah. I can't figure out how kids are accepted if they're not ready for college.

Also, highly qualified sounds nice and all, but in my experience, it's just another hoop for younger teachers to jump through and doesn't necessarily mean better teaching. I know a bunch of highly qualified shitheads.

Also, good luck with that in his platform. It'll get blown out of the water. TBH, a lot of it seems borrowed from the NEA.

also, i dunno how important the war is as a voting issue 4 u (it's way more of a pressing concern 4 me than, uh, education), but richardson is all over the map on it. he supported it to begin with, and now he's pretending that he's the anit-war candidate or something, and contradicting himself about it:
