Just saw this yesterday and loved it.

Anybody else see it yet?

yeah i got bored. i realized it bended back pretty far, but it was too hard. then i gave it a few seconds and thought about a bear attack or some shit, and then i pushed it behind my balls and i put it in my butt. i can get about 1/4 inch into there

Yeah this movie was great.

cmon, grant is not the world's greatest nor is he the world's cutest. such a statement is an insult to tom arnold and chris stone small, respectively.

and i agree, he has TWO MANY OPINONS. worst of all, he disagrees with ME at least 60% of the time (that's a conservative estimate, huh grant?), AND EVEN WORSE he frames his argument in such a manner as to make it logical, significant, and persuasive. yeah that's right he does something WORSE THAN THE WORST. there is no worser than grant. he wouldnt get it during the day webb. every2 would see him. jeez.

The character who made the speech was a star from the sky and had watched the entire history of the human race unfold from the sky but had never been able to experience life on earth until now. She knew all about love but had never had chance to experience it 1st hand until those 2 or 3 days.

yeah but it's just a black case.

i think he didn't get it because he didn't want that psycho going after him.

i think he didn't get it because he didn't want that psycho going after him.

But it's his purpose to get the money. He thinks he can beat Chigurh.

Anyway Wells doesn't know to a certainty that it's the money on the bank. We know it's the money because we know where it is. To him it could just be a bag.

Also, when Chigurh questions Wells why, if he thought he knew where the money he didn't take it, Wells tells him he needs dark. Though I think that's not necessarily legitimate.

The way I look at it, if Wells had in fact taken the money he'd have to leave Moss in the hospital to be killed by Chigurh. He had told Moss that the money was Wells' only reason to protect him. Wells (somewhat unprofessionally) chooses not to do that (perhaps feeling a connection due to their both being Vets). His humanity ultimately gets him killed.

thats a common theme in the book. sticking to your principles despite the consequences which always end up dire. It doesnt come through as well in the movie. Moss brings water to the thirsty mexican and he has the chance to kill Chigurgh but doesn't take it. Finally he picks up that slutty 16 year old hitchhiker despite his judgement and his wife ends up thinking that they were straight up bonin.

spoiler. alert.

probably not. I mean the writing is aweome but youre just gonna be picturing the movie the whole time. Read The Road. it is also by cormac mccarthy and it's going to be a movie soon so you should read it first.

CULLEN. This is totally the wrong thread for this, but...did you get Dirk Bullit from Golgo-13, or is that just a coincidence and it's actually just some pop culture reference that goes over my head?

I asked here because I thought I'd catch you online and I figure you'd come back to this thread.

But now you're going offline.

Dammit, Cullen! I must know!

Ah! Thank you!

I used to play the hell out of that game when I was six or seven. I hadn't played it in years, but that was what I always thought of when I saw your screenname. Thought it was just something similar, though. But I was playing it again the other night and I sat up when Dirk peg-legged it out at that train station and said, "Hey, I was right! Dirk Bullit! Dude!"

Eve Cherry, hahaha

I really want to see this. I'll probably go with my roommate's fiance because she doesn't want to go and both of us do.

I missed the middle part, but I can tell from the way that you are enjoying yourselves it must have been a very humorous anecdote because the way you are laughing just shows how much you enjoyed it.

This was the best movie I've seen this year. I haven't read the book, but I am tempted to start reading others by the author. Hmmm.

IAWTP a lot. Best movie this year, haven't read the book either.

The ending, or rather last 25 minutes were very confusing but didn't seem to be so for its own sake. Tastefully done.
