Whenever I see someone paying for something on TV or a movie, I have no idea how much has changed hands, on account of all US currency looks the same, Can you tell? |
No, not really. If there's lots of bills, it's assumed to be lots of money. If there's only a few bills, it's meant to be a little bit of money. |
No, but I also don't care, so I don't pay attention. |
You can only tell if you've been short-changed if you look them in the eye and they look away. |
a lot of time, it's fake money too. you can sometimes spot little differences. I haven't checked in the case in No Country For Old Men yet |
since it's paper it probably gets harder and harder to tell. |
If it's bound with paper (like stacks), it's probably a lot. If it's a few bills, it's probably not that much. |

btw our money is getting more colorful. the new $5 bill just came out last week, it's like grey/purple. our twenties are still pretty green. and our tens are now orange-ish. and they're not gonna redesign the dollar, b/c eventually the dollar will be worth a penny and we will all use pennies. |
I have one of those new 5's and I think it looks fake with that giant purple "5" on the back. Money is lame. |
i think they're not colorful enough. they jsut look like someone spilled kool-aid on a regular green bill. |
They put the new fives out with a purple numeral because they're all K-State fans. |
the new money looks like real currency. |
and by real currency you mean it looks like the monopoly money on which it is based and, with avocados at 1.99 or more each, apparently valued. |
well who buys avocados anyway? |
Me. |
Avocados are yummy! |
not yummy enough at two fuckin dollars a pop |
Also, does anyone know whether the suitcase full-o-money was a movie invention or has anyone really gotten a suitcase full of cash (where the idea didn't come from a movie) |
how else are high-dollar drug transactions going down? i doubt they usually want to leave a paper trail by writing checks. |

That was 2005 though. |
i guess ur right, i've never seen a suitcase full of money in any movie or TV show produced prior to 2005. |
(o wait i misunderstood ur post. yeah i guess the fbi could have come up w/ that idea by watching "blow" or w/e.) |
FUCKIN A! AVOCADOS!! |
that was weird. |
i'm like 92% sure it's faked, i looked at the crinkles and shit. |
Whenever I see someone praying for something on TV or a movie, I don't understand. Does it actually work? |
