4.6 songs

last night at the richmond show, he explained the 4.6 thing to the fullest. after brick was a hit he was touring so much that he couldn't keep with the 12 songs a year quota. so he stuck it out and didn't and he didn't get paid. he said he finally gave in and asked how many he needed to write, which was 4.6 more.

so he proceeded to play "One Down" which was the 2nd of the bunch. after that he said he was going to play the first one if he could remember how to. he also said the everyone thought he was 'some kind of fucked up' after he wrote this. it was also written on a typewriter in 15 minutes. "Secret Life of Morgan Davis" which i have always wanted to see. after that he went to the 3rd which he said he had hopes of a boy band covering. he then played about 30 seconds of "Girl" and he just stopped and said 'this fuckin sucks'. the .6 song, which he never told anyone because he didnt want them to think he wrote it fast because it would seem like it sucked, was "Losing Lisa", the band came back out and played that with him.

he also broke a string and taught us how a piano works while they were fixing it.

jared and sam remembered me. and i also got my BFF selftitled cassette signed and ben said it was real awesome to have and he doesn't even own one. he also confirmed that uncle walter does infact have more curse words in it.

Don't Knock on Girl

If song is written to be a shitty boy band song, and it sounds like a shitty boy band song, how can you possibly be disappointed? I find the shitty songs that he writes and expects us to take seriously far more of a crime.

i still have that whole 4.6 songs recorded from the show in 2002. he just never revealed what the song was that actually made it to the record.
