recently the other thread expired from going too long without posts. that breaks this old heart of mine. let's keep the spirit going.

Dr. Funk has recently been convicted of a misdemeanor marijuana possession. The judge sentences him to community service in lieu of jail time, but he's not getting off that easy! Meet Helen Liebowitz (Vera Miles), a sassy Holocaust survivor who Dr. Funk has been assigned to take care of. Their attitudes do not initially sit well with one another, but over time, they discover that though they come from different cultures and generations, they might not be as different as they think. It's the "Harold and Maude" meets "Shadowboxer" love story of the new millennium. Tracy Morgan and Vera Miles star in "Ghetto Superstar", featuring Robert Downey Jr. and Brian Cox.

(I'd prefer there to be a star of David in place of the "a" in the title.)

let's write dialogue for it. Scene: hospital. cullen's bedside

Chaz: I remember one day my dad and I were fishing over by the overpass. And I... well, I couldn't catch anything at all, my dad, he got this flounder, it... it was writhing in agony in, in his arms. and he said "we caught a fish son" and we looked at each other and we both just kind of.... [chaz breaks down] We threw the fish back, man. It was... the only thing to do, you know? I really believe that, sometimes there's only one thing to do.

Cullen: That's why you have to do this, man. Go without me. Forget me. Don't ever look back, Chaz. Just whatever you do don't look back.

Chaz: But we... we can't do this without you.

Cullen: Well, okay [walks out with IV and waves to all the nurses]
