Thanks yossector. I think that's good advice. We've been encouraging him to just do what they want and get the degree over with, and that it's going to suck but at least when its over like you say he's a free dude. It's his last year so I don't know if just walking away from it is such a wise decision, at least he will have a completed degree out of staying. But I don't blame him for considering that.
For something that is a form of art, interpreted in many different ways, to have a couple of dudes who are as you say failed filmmakers who now can only teach, tell you that you're doing it wrong, is sort of insulting to me imo to me. But i dunno the full dealio!!

Ha, goose, how awful for you. Some of the stuff I've seen that my bro's classmates have done is really terrible. Some are really good though. I think they have a shitload of time and resource constraints, and I don't think they have much luck getting reimbursed for any expenses. At least at QUT anyways.

You wouldn’t steal a handbag. You wouldn’t steal a car. You wouldn’t steal a baby. You wouldn’t shoot a policeman. And then steal his helmet. You wouldn’t go to the toilet in his helmet. And then send it to the policeman’s grieving widow. And then steal it again!

Yeah. I felt kinda sickened and thought I could make a better film. Of course reality would prolly butt fuck me, but the fact the thought entered my mind, just flabbergahsting.

Me too!
I'm so glad to see my Afflex doing so well.

Saw a trailer for The Town before Inception, I almost pee'd a little.
