When you get a vasectomy, you are not immediately considered "sterile". There is a reservoir of sperm in your body.

After about 25 ejaculations, you go back to the doctor and give them a semen sample and they do a sperm count.

if the count is zero, you're clear for all the bareback fun you want, with no fear of passing the most expensive std of all time(kids).

I need a place to keep track of my ejaculations, as I finally lost count in college.
Here I will keep track of how many I have left before my return trip to the DOC
