I find projects like this tiresome. Even if the record was devoted to someone better than Hall & Oates I would have a hard time getting excited about it.

I think Beck & co. have the right idea just churning it out in a day and releasing them online.

However what everyone thought couldnt happen Grant has proved them wrong by coming out of the closet as a proud lesbian.

Ignore the Leonard Cohen one at all costs.

The Velvet Underground one is worth at least one listen, and the Skip Spence one is actually wonderful.

Having Wilco, Feist,and Jamie Lidell and James Gadson in the same room at the same time probably helps.
