First listen...

Too Much - Too much going on in this song. Intentional? Maybe, but it sounds messy and confusing.
Age of Adz - I love piccolo trills, but they sound a bit odd with industrial/spacey sounds with them. I like this song when it softens, but otherwise it's kinda grating.
I Walked - I don't have anything specific to complain about, but just think it's okay.
Now That I'm Older - Kinda pretty. Reminds me of the All Delighted People stuff.
Get Real Get Right - More of that steamy sound. I kind of hate it. I think I would like this one otherwise.
Bad Communication - More weird sound effects. WTF?
Vesuvius - Off to a good start! Still sound effects I don't like, but they aren't as grating.
All For Myself - Nope.
I Want To Be Well - A bit better. Still not loving it. Whoa, swearing. Does Sufjn ever swear?
Impossible Soul - Uh uh.

tl;dr weird, grating sound effects over otherwise pretty music. Hoping it will grow on me, but probably won't.

If there's two things America needs right now that is sunshine and optimism... and also Angels.

It's very weird and squishy electronic stuff, which I like a lot. This album is basically like that with a bit more songwriting and orchestral bravado. Quite similar to the All Delighted People EP.
