You need to go to there. |
this show is still very good fyi |
yes i agree. it's still hovering around A territory |
hey, it's mark brendanawicz that's cool. i forgot about him. |
andy has always been great. ron hasn't had too much to do really but it's always a pleasure when he's on screen |
Hmm, bringing Mark back is kinda weird since they never really mentioned why or how he left. I hope he comes back to Pawnee married to Judy Winslow or something. |
andy gets consistently better every episode though. i love when him and april are kind of at odds like when they were describing their halloween party to the camera. so awesome. |
they mentioned why at the end of season 2. he had the scene where he said it was time for him to go since the parks dept was (apparently) shutting down, ann broke up with him, and a pigeon crapped on him and he was indoors |
i'm amazed at how good the dynamic is between andy & april. it was a risk that paid off imo |
it's weird that there was like some sort of a leslie, ann, mark love triangle early in the series. |
yeah that was f'ing gross. i'm glad the mark/leslie thing was pretty much all but completely eliminated in season one. they didn't make a big deal of it in season two except for the initial "hey mark asked me out but i'm not gonna because of your past" and then leslie setting it up anyway. |
Oh, wow, totally forgot about that. It's still a weird reason though since he didn't work specifically for the Parks dept. I need to rewatch season 2 some time. |
yeah season 2 is really excellent. michael schur said they always believed mark would return and then exit again in different capacities throughout the series. |
it's still weird to think that ann and chris were apparently in a serious enough relationship to live together, and yet they pretty much never interact at all anymore. |
well ann thought they should live together and chris wasn't really about it. they still interact in small capacities (the filming of the diabetes psa, etc) but while they have picked up chris's character ann has fallen into this weird pathetic thing that the show still hasn't figured out what to do with |
yeah. i like rashida jones, and i think she definitely is a net positive on the show, she's probably the least useful character. |
Chris' personality now is definitely a lot more 'manic' than just positive/optimistic like it was during his relationship with Ann. Plus they've demonstrated that Ann is pretty bad at relationships and picks mates that aren't really suited for her. |
she just has absolutely nothing to do any more apart from being leslie's best friend. and there's potential there (her being the marketing director for the dept for one) |
chris was always a little crazy though under high pressure situations, like in the flu episode. i think the trial was the best screen time he's gotten since then) |
oh also i am super glad about how they handled this stupid ben/leslie hiding from chris thing. it could have been a big season-long story but instead they just forgot about it for awhile, and then came back and dealt with it in maybe 2 episodes. awesome. |
Yes, they seem to be reeling him in a bit, thankfully. I really loved his reaction to Leslie's Christmas gift in the last episode. The abrupt jump from 'serious business' to 'happy Chris' was just perfect. |
i am only just now buying the ben/leslie thing, and i think the drama is what helped sell it. i still don't believe they're in love though. she just had such wonderful chemistry with dave (louis ck). THAT i believed through and through. |
april/andy is the best thing ever. |
They keep making her seem hotter and hotter too. |
who? |
donna |
rawr |
april/andy |
i thought maybe you were talking about ben/leslie |
donna is really beautiful tho. an african queen |

“The fastest song I ever wrote was one of the sincere songs on the last album. It was called "Evaporated." Written in literally 15 minutes. As quickly as I could write it down and work the chords out.”
