Great story pointer! I have a similar one but it's left me seriously emotionally scarred so maybe in a few years after I pick up the pieces, we can bump this thread and I'll be ready to share.

Guys, I had two ladyfriends over til after one AM on Friday and one was even married sans husband and the neighbors will be clucking now! I also entertained a small group of people til the wee hours last night and some of them left sloppily in the driveway. Oh man!

one time my across-the-street neighbor called the cops at 3am because she heard a gun shot coming from my house. my whole family was, of course, sleeping and our neighbor was, of course, super crazy.
a few years before that while i was in work she told my sister to tell me to stop going into her basement with "that boy", and that i need to come out right now. neighbors are weird, guys!

I kind of want to do it too Willie but not here, our only windows face the trees. I always thought it would be fun to go down to Carolina Beach where all the fucking yuppies live and hang out in the sub shop for a week (the subs are really good, bonus) and blog about the comings and goings and at the end I'll basically have a Carl Hiaasen novel

Ben Folds Five is a disaster these days, and this incident is just a perfect example of why -- poorly trained employees and an out-and-out hostility to customers is no way to run a band.
