I feel like if any other genre of music did this, there would be a lot more backlash. Having a hologramic kurt cobain seems worse, for some reason.

Although, I bet dead heads would love a hologramic Jerry Garcia.

Was it not a hologram? I don't know to much about it... Was it projected onto a surface or on a giant LED display or something?

Omfg I thought it might have been pepper's ghost... Still, the pepper's ghosts at, say, the haunted mansion at Disney world are still reflections of actual animatronics (see here: http://www.imagineeringdisney.com/blog/2011/7/21/abando
