i used to work there, and i remember correctly, it wasnt too much unless you are buying car audio. Like computers, you save like 2 or 3 bucks. Media was about the same 2 or 3 bucks, if not less since they do sell some media alot cheaper than other places. Alot of other things, ill estimate at 5% off, but i never had to buy an HD 52"digital screen. I never made that much money there to even think about it. |

I have a friend who worked at Best Buy, and he got like 60% off big stuff, like he has a 1000 Watt speaker system... |

5% above employee cost is what my friend gets. It's a shitload off some stuff, not so much off other stuff. One of the best discounts in retail, period! |

Best Buy sucks because my ex bf works there. |

I think my ex-girlfriend got a job at Dairy Queen just to taunt me. |

Best Buy gives its employees wholesale prices. That means that they will let you buy the product for the price they buy it from the manufacturer. But there are really strict rules about buying things. They seemed to research everything I bought. In example I bought a Playstation 2 game from there using the employee discount. A couple of days after buying it I was confronted by my manager and he asked if I had a Playstation 2 because on the records I didn't buy one from Best Buy. He thought I made the purchase for a friend, which they are really strict about. Best Buy sucks to work at, the only advantage of working there is that it doesn't pay that bad and it has a good employee discount. |

“Yeah, I was thinking, what else could I do to be like Prince, because everything else, from my lifestyle to my dancing, is just like him, so I thought I'd record like him as well.”
- Ben on playing all the instruments on the album (like Prince)
