saw it last nite, enjoyed it very much. i'm by no means an adam sandler fan, he's had his moments, but this movie proved himself well beyond happy gilmore. |

Good Flick, found it rather funny that most of the audience was in their 50's-70's at the theatre I was at, not to mention it was PACKED. |
|
I've never heard of it, I thought this thread was just about when you get pissed and punch the person you love. |

that is the problem ... most people arent up on what directors and writers are known for ..... they think that the actors are what makes a film .... and that isnt always true ..... certain actors are know for certain tings and most regular people cant see that actor doing something other than what their known for .... which is a pity and a darn shame........ I personally enjoy Adam Sandler... especially Billy Madison ..... I once watched Billy MAdison 10 times in a row while i was sick in and on bed rest ............. |

i think the colors in those scene changes were more than just cool.. u know how they sometimes do color representations of sound for deaf people? i think that was what that was also, cause i've seen it done before. so that was pretty neat. |

I'm still unsure whether I liked it or not. My initial reaction leaving the theater was that it was a waste of money, but as I look back, I did enjoy most of it, although I thought it was disjointed in places. And it took me three days to figure out where the song, "He needs me" is from... The movie Popeye (Robin Williams/Shelly Duvall)! I don't know if I'm more relieved or embarassed that I actually remember that movie, especially the soundtrack! |

Jeez, I want to see this movie so badly... |

Until I remembered that this was an Adam Sandler movie, I skipped on this thread cause I thought it was some "new" punk-indie-emo-rock band. |

jeremy blake is the guy who did the scene changes. if any of you own the beck cd (sea change) you probably recognize the color scheme. as soon as i saw the first segment i sat up in my seat and said "beck!" and looked around, disappointed that it didn't remind anyone else of the covers. |

My buddy Dan and his roomate had the fortune of seeing a pre-screening of this movie....along with PT Anderson (the director) and Adam Sandler. They even got to ask questions, etc. He has a transcription of the whole thing somewhere...I'll dig it up for ya'll. |
