I know this would probably be a nightmare to control but why don't we all get together and write some lyrics and present them to Ben backstage and get him to write the music and stick the song on an album?

i don't think ben would do it.......certainly not for an album. probably not at all.

a compilation of words and music by us all would be better. Just get it all recorded and done and then give him the finished product

I fully reckon if we actually took the time to shit some lyrics out and arrange them all into a song, and someone could figure out some notes. He'd be stoked.

I heard you could give him lyrics to music and he would play it, so I asked him to play half asleep at the pontiac show but he said he couldn't remember it at all. Me and my friends changed the lyrics around so he'd sing our names saying we were sweet mofos. He thought it was pretty funny. I'd be down to write some music or something, but I dunno how good a song could be about a website.

but ben has said himself that when he taught himself chords and such, he learnt everything in C, and therefore most of his songs are written in that key.

you might be able to get him to play it at one show... but the chances of him putting it on an album or repeating it on the tour seem really slim - if not for pride, then for legal reasons

yes Andy Hardy, and then if we can get some instruments toghether we can form a band real fast and then we'll sell some tickets outside of school to raise money and then if you sing I can sing backup and mom can get all her friends to buy tickets and we'll get hold of a station wagon to transport everyone.......
