About bezley

I love music and laughing. Sometimes I like to laugh whilst making music....

Interests

I've played drums since '97 - On my 7th teacher now at Uni. Funnily enough he's actually the percussionist from a band you might have heard of 'The Divine Comedy' anyone.....?

Brief Musical History:
Played Piano and Violin at age 5. Gave up Piano and kept up Violin. Did one exam and moved school giving up Violin. Then I picked up Drums. A few years ago I started fiddling on the Piano again. Then came across Ben Fold Five. Bought all the books, and Ben Folds influenced my Piano playing to the extent that I can actually play well again!! Woohooo.
Ben, I am eternally grateful.

I also sing, but mainly backing vocals, because doing 5 things at the same time in a band is about the most you can do.

Music

Where do I start? I love music, and many many many bands of all styles and taste. The most diverse taste which is pretty hard if you want to form a band.

My 3 favourite bands in the whole world.

Blink 182 - Longtime heroes
Ben Folds Five - One of the best
The Beach Boys - Recently got into them again in an extreme way. They are incredibly amazing. Brian Wilson is a legend.

And some more that I really like (a lot).....

Incubus
The Police
Queen
Muse
RHCP
Limp Bizkit
Billy Joel
Coldplay
Sum 41
A
Dream Theater
Counting Crows
Metallica
Jimmy Eat World
Rooney
Michael Jackson

Favorite Ben Folds (Five) Songs

In Alphabetical Order:

Air
Army
Battle Of Who Could Care Less
Don't Change Your Plans
Kate
Lullaby
Philosophy
Song For The Dumped
Theme From Dr Pyser
Where's Summer B?

I seriously like them all, so I'm not even going to go there...

Best Moment

Met Ben on 31st May 2005. He came out after the show, and that's when I got him to sign my SFS, SFG and WAEA Remaster. Got a great photo. You can check it out on www.thesuburbs.org.uk
Talked to him, and saw him the following night as well, although he couldn't stick around.
